There is currently 1 vacancy in this fabulous home.

The two current tenants are eager to welcome a new housemate. They are both local residents from Shepparton, aged 66 and 59, who enjoy a relaxed, stress-free lifestyle.  They are seeking a roommate who is friendly and easy to get along with, ideally a non-smoker.

Resident 1 – A 66-year-old female with a vibrant sense of humor who enjoys engaging in conversations and sharing laughter. Although she relies on a wheelchair for mobility, this does not hinder her from spending quality time with her fellow residents and staff. She appreciates visits from her family and friends, who visit her frequently. In her leisure time, she enjoys watching television and reading. Additionally, she values being pampered and has expressed her enjoyment of massages and nail care provided by the staff. She also likes to take walks or visit the local park.

Resident 2 – A 60-year-old female with an acquired brain injury (ABI) who utilises a wheelchair for mobility. She has a notable sense of humor and enjoys engaging in cooking activities and enjoying the meals that she helps prepare. She regularly participates in craft activities with staff and values time spent outdoors, taking part in community outings three times a week with the support of independent workers. She looks forward to weekly shopping trips and attends special community and music events with the assistance of a caregiver. She is also dedicated supporter of the Richmond Football Club.

What is SIL?

Supported Independent Living, also referred to as SIL, is a NDIS funded support that enables participants to live as independently as possible, where, and how they choose. Some SIL participants will be eligible to live in a shared home, while others may choose to live alone. Depending on your funding and preferences, our team will help you find your perfect home!

At this residence, support is provided by an experienced and caring team. They’ll help you with daily life tasks and assist you in developing the skills required for independent living – including helping you to connect with activities and other supports in the community. Support is tailored to help you achieve the goals in your NDIS Plan.
